Available positions

Connections Director – This position will work directly with the Senior Pastor while reporting to the Executive Pastor. The Connections Director is responsible for transforming first-time guests into members. This includes scheduling 1st-time guest appointments, salvation appointments, baptism appointments, and filling up each of the Membership Classes. The Connections Director will be responsible for enrolling each new person through the membership classes into a small group. This position requires a minimum of 1 to 3 years experience in church ministry or possession of a Bachelor’s Degree in biblical studies or related field.


Program Assistant – This position will work alongside the Program Pastor in facilitating the weekly program at Southern Hills. This position requires a minimum of 1 to 3 years experience as an assistant or possession of a Bachelor’s Degree in biblical studies or related field.


Assimilation Assistant – This position will work under the Executive Assistant in organizing and maintaining the Assimilation System for the Executive Pastor. The Assimilation Assistant is responsible to manage the Assimilation System. This includes coordination of the membership classes, document distribution, handling of incoming and outgoing mail. This position requires a minimum of 1 to 3 year experience as an administrative assistant or Possession of an AA/BA Degree in Business, Secretarial, or related field.


Small Group Pastor – The Small Groups Pastor is responsible for all aspects of ensuring the congregation is connecting with one another and building community through a strong, healthy, and growing small group ministry. This includes development and execution of an annual growth plan, group leader identification and recruitment, small group curriculum development, and ongoing leadership and coaching of group leaders. This position requires a minimum of 4 years experience as a staff member in a ministry leadership capacity or possession of a Bachelor’s Degree in biblical studies or related field.
